Instructors: Debra Dixon Doss (former school child nutrition director) and Terry Haas (former school finance officer)

This class will provide a deep dive into School Nutrition rules and regulations surrounding the program including USDA Reimbursements and USDA Commodities. We will cover the FC1A and the relationship to the trial balance. We will address internal controls and challenges faced in the School Nutrition Program. This course covers information from both the school nutrition as well as the finance view. To enhance your experience, this course is best when both the finance department and the school nutrition department come together.  Bring your team.

The course will include lecture, group activities/discussion and other methods of instruction.

COURSE FEE

• $200.00 per person and includes lunch.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Class Duration - 8:00 am to 4:00 pm 
• Class Limit - 36 Students
  
• Course Preparation - Information on class handouts/materials will be provided by your instructors two weeks prior to the class (via email). All students will be provide a ABC County School District booklet with the necessary reports that will be used in class.
• Attendance - In-person only.
